El Greco Handmade Albums
A custom web app where photographers order online and El Greco manages its catalogue, customers and orders in one place.
The challenge
A handmade album comes with many options: size, cover, material, details, graphics, logo. Photographers' orders reached El Greco by phone and email, with the risk of a detail being lost or misunderstood — and constant back-and-forth about where each order stood.
El Greco needed a system that gets every order right the first time and keeps customers informed about progress, without phone calls.
The solution
We designed and built a two-sided platform from scratch.
For photographers
- Sign-up with approval by El Greco, so the platform stays reserved for professional partners
- A guided new-order form for products, albums or sets
- A "My orders" list with the status and history of every order
For El Greco
- An admin panel to approve, activate and manage customers
- Full catalogue management: sizes, covers, materials, details, vectors, logos and products. Whatever is defined here appears automatically in the order form
- Every order managed from one place
- Live customer updates with a single button on the progress of their order
The result
Orders arrive complete and structured, the catalogue changes without a developer, and photographers always know where their work stands.
